Al has had a love for cooking for most of his life. He became the house cook at 10 years old since his mother worked long hours. As he continued into adulthood he cooked at several restaurants before joining the military. During his time in the military he would cook for all of his friends and fellow soldiers to give them a break from the chow hall.
Even having steaks flown to Iraq while on deployment and grilling on a small grill to give himself and fellow soldiers a treat during tough times.
After leaving the military he traveled and worked around the country as a project manager.
Al decided to move home and start a business in Jamestown NY called Superior Energy Innovations, LLC. Providing free and low cost energy inspections and work to improve energy efficiency in peoples homes.
Throughout the years Al would cook for family and friends always being told the food was so good he should own a restaurant. Al and his wife Karen saw the opportunity to start a restaurant in Mayville, NY in March of 2022. Music for your Mouth has given Al the opportunity to make his dream of sharing high quality, healthy, artizen food with people. Al insists on only the freshest made from scratch food that is certain to please all palates.

Chef Erik was professionally trained at Pennsylvania Culinary Institute. He has worked as a chef for many places to include cooking for the Steelers, and Pirates. He has worked at several fine dining establishments in Pittsburg and up and down the east coast.
